The Little Book of Shiatsu in Europe

The History of the European Shiatsu Federation

by Eduard Tripp & Chris McAlister

On the eve of the historic ESF symposium in Brussels, where representatives of Shiatsu from the length and breadth of Europe will gather for the first time ever, The Little Book of Shiatsu makes its appearance in English. (The German version has been available since December).

Written by long time Shiatsu servant Eduard Tripp, and with assistance from ESF President, Chris McAlister, this book charts the progress of Shiatsu as a nascent profession in Europe from the early 1980’s until the present day.

Within its pages you will find chronicled thirty years of ups and downs, the successes and failures of the pioneers who have sought to establish Shiatsu as an autonomous profession in Europe.
